DRUID SISTERS
DRUID SISTERS is a world fusion dance band. Claudia Paige, drummer/percussionist founded the band to mix musical cultures together. She starts from the heartbeat and drums up your dancing spirit with world funk grooves, adding hand drums from Africa and Pakistan and layering rhythms from around the world. Centered from the rhythmic drum grooves by founder Claudia Paige, Druid Sisters music is an eclectic musical mix with Celtic fiddle, gypsy cello, dreamy trance vocals, Native flutes, deep bass and hypnotic didjeridu.

MEMBERS
Druid Sisters founder Claudia Paige is a highly-sought-after drummer who has played with premier musical artists of the 21st century, including Jerry Garcia, Linda Perry, Bonnie Raitt, Tito Puente, Bo Diddley and Lady Bo, Hollis Gentry (Stanley Clarke), Ray White (Frank Zappa) and more. She has shared the stage with BB King, Ben Harper, George Clinton, Tower of Power and more. Claudia has a very eclectic drumming style, incorporating hand drums from around the world into her drum kit. With years of experience in live performance, recording and music scoring, Claudia has toured countries worldwide including Bosnia, Hungary, Croatia, Germany, Austria, France, Italy, Germany and Czechoslovakia, and she has performed in forty-eight of fifty states in the U.S.. She was named in Sweden Rock Magazine and Sister Rock as one of the best 25 female drummers in the world and is a published BMI artist. Claudia has worked with many renowned recording studios, such as Motown Records, Capitol Records, Fantasy Records, Skywalker Sound and Lucas Films, and her drumming has even been used in indie and full feature films.

Claudia's music writing partner is Cyoakha Grace, a haunting world/trance four-octave vocalist and songwriter. Cyoakha plays Indian harmonium, Native flutes, melodica, didjeridu and hand percussion. She has played all over the world at festivals such as the Adelaide Fringe in Australia, Sussex Faerie in England, Burning Man, Faerieworlds and more. She has shared the stage with Patti Smith, Jefferson Starship, Shooglenifty, band members from Santana and more.

Kathy Buys, Celtic fiddler, has been playing for over 30 years. From age 5 to 18, Kathy studied classical music and played with orchestras like the Palo Alto Chamber Orchestra and the San Francisco Symphony Youth Orchestra. She has also had the honor of playing under renowned conductors such as Michael Tilson Thomas and Jahja Ling and toured with the popular US band Tempest.

Myra Joy, gypsy cellist blends classical, gypsy, folk, world jazz and contemporary styles. She has collaborated with musicians and ensembles such as Kitka, The Black Brothers, Hans York, Melanie O'Reilly, the pickPocket Ensemble, and Hamed Nikpay.
